A healthcare opportunity is available for a licensed Registered Nurse skilled in Interventional Radiology nursing, located in Concord, NC. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing support to Radiology patients undergoing procedures such as MRI, CT, Interventional Radiology, and X-ray.
- Manage prep, recovery, and discharge processes effectively.
- Administer intraprocedural moderate sedation and conduct port access care.
- Deliver critical care support including cardiac patient management and emergency response following ACLS protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care throughout radiology services.
- Utilize EMR systems (EPIC) and PACS (Philips iSite) for documentation and imaging support.
- Participate in departmental onboarding and ongoing education to maintain clinical competence.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Compact State Board Nursing License.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience in critical care or cardiac nursing highly desirable.
- Proficiency with radiology and patient monitoring technologies.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts).
- On-call responsibilities including virtual patient follow-up on a rotating basis (1:5 week).
- Participation in holiday and weekend virtual rotations on a 1:5 week schedule.
